Tyburski Appraisal Corporation, formerly the Commercial Appraisal Division of the Boston Five Appraisal Corporation d/b/a The Appraisal Corporation, was established in 1985 as a wholly owned subsidiary of the former Boston Five Cents Savings Bank. It primarily provided traditional commercial appraisal services for institutional purposes in Eastern Massachusetts.

In 1995, Tyburski Appraisal Corporation became privately owned when it was purchased by its Founder and President Mark F. Tyburski, MAI, SRA. Now able to provide services to an expanded client base, its business grew and became more specialized into complex appraisal and consulting assignments.

In 2000, it became an affiliate of ILS Advisory Group, a growing, national provider of commercial appraisal and advisory services. Through this affiliation, the experience and knowledge of Tyburski Appraisal Corporation have been combined with the national resources of ILS Advisory Group. This allows it, also, to provide clients with regional coverage and enhanced products, services, technology and resources while still providing unparalleled local market knowledge and personal service at competitive prices. It is the ability to provide the resources of a large firm without sacrificing the market knowledge and personal service of a local firm that sets it apart from the competition and is giving its clients a competitive edge.

Currently, Tyburski Appraisal Corporation is a privately owned firm, which also serves as a regional affiliate office of ILS Advisory Group.
